The love you need I cannot find
I'm happy when I fall in love
I talk to myself, and I feel clever
It makes me really want to tell ya
That I will love you forever
Then you hug me and you feel free
And I realize that you just don't see
You unlock my heart and twist the key
And all my love runs away from me
The love you need I cannot find
The love you need I cannot find
The love you need I cannot find
I don't have feelings of that kind
But you refuse to leave me
I don't get any space
My love needs to be free
Please get out of my face
I need some peace and tranquillity
I try to return to my room
It's then that I find the ability
To say " I sorry - this will be over soon"
The love you need I cannot find
The love you need I cannot find
The love you need I cannot find
I don't have feelings of that kind
"You want me forever," y' say
As I try to escape from your loving glance
I tell you as I'm walking away
I just can't give you that second chance
