The NCYPE undertook a major capital appeal in 2004 to raise £6.9 million for a new Medical Assessment and Research Centre at the Lingfield campus. The resulting ‘Neville Childhood Epilepsy Centre’ will be a global centre of excellence in paediatric epilepsy, providing new hope to children suffering with epilepsy, and their families, through world-class research and treatment. The NCYPE has also raised over £300,000 to fund the associated programmes in research, information, education and outreach to be based at the new centre and is continuing to raise funds in this area.
The NCYPE has been able to establish this hugely important centre thanks to the generosity and support of a small number of major donors.
