Nurses

The Nursing team provides a service on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including emergency cover for all the young people at NCYPE. Nurses are specialists in epilepsy, learning disabilities, mental health, paediatric and general nursing.

The nurses run a number of clinics which are offered to all students, these include well woman clinics, well man clinics, and immunisation. The team also offer training, specialising in epilepsy awareness, infection control, seizure management and epilepsy first aid.

Each student is allocated a key nurse who is there to help and support each individual, the staff caring for them and their parents, carers and families.
