College
The NCYPE offers a multidisciplinary approach to education. Teams of lecturers, consultants, registrars, nurses, psychologists, therapists, and support staff all work together to ensure that young people living with epilepsy are provided with high quality educational support as they move towards independent living.
Each student follows an individualised programme tailored to meet their individual assessed needs. These programmes are reviewed three times a year to ensure a holistic approach to education is achieved.
The NCYPE Further Education College provides learning programmes for young people aged between 16 and 25 who have epilepsy and other special educational needs. The college supports a wide range of abilities from Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
Students can attend on a day or residential basis and benefit from the support of the NCYPE multidisciplinary team.
